There are a lot of different private label ingredients that can help to keep your hair shiny, strong and bouncy beautiful. Some can be used on their own, while others need to be added to formulas. In the case of the latter, one of our favorite hair healing and protecting ingredients is organic Argan oil. With the perfect texture, soft and mild aroma and fantastic level of efficacy, if you haven t been using this on your hair at least once a week, now s the time to start.
If you have your own private label line and it doesn t contain any Argan oil, you might want to consider revamping an ingredient deck or two. While some people like to use Argan oil for their private label skincare products, our favorite way is to use it for hair and beard products, including our very own organic beard oil. But you don t have to buy a pre-formulated product in order to enjoy the many benefits of Argan on your hair or beard. You can use it straight and apply to your ends, all over your beard, and all over your head for a deep conditioning and reparative at home hair treatment.
To take things up a notch, add some Rosemary essential oil to your Argan for enhanced hair restoration and protection. This combination is one of our favorites because, 1) it s so easy and 2) the synergy of easily absorbable fatty acids and hair building properties of Argan perfectly compliment the antioxidants and dandruff healing effects of the Rosemary. Also, the Rosemary has a wonderful light herbaceous scent that goes perfectly with the naturally light aroma of the Argan, making this as pleasant of a sensory experience as it is a healing hair experience.
To make your own Argan and Rosemary hair elixir, simply mix the two together in your bottle of choice! The amount of essential oil to Argan is very flexible and will vary depending on how sensitive your sense of smell is. A good rule of thumb is to add 2-5 drops of essential oil per ounce of Argan, and tweak from there depending on how strong you want the aroma of your hair treatment to be. This is a great combo to use on the ends of your hair, as a light styling aid, and as a full on whole head overnight hair treatment.
